María Juliana is a law student at the University of the Andes, majoring in economics. She is a member of the Financial Law area of the Finance and Investment Club at the University of the Andes and served as an academic monitor for the course Constitution: Rights and Guarantees.

She also has international academic experience through the Georgia Rotary Student Program at Georgia Southern University. Her areas of interest include corporate law, private and commercial law, and private obligations and contracts.
